Year 4 Multiplication Times Table Check

Times table learning focusses on developing quick and accurate recall of multiplication and division facts up to 12 × 12. Secure recall is essential for later success in maths, particularly when tackling more complex calculations and problem-solving. We also use online platforms such as Times Tables Rock Stars to make practice fun and motivating while helping children build speed and fluency.

Children will complete the statutory Multiplication Tables Check in Year 4, and our approach ensures they feel confident and well-prepared.

Please click here to a 'mock' practice site. This is set up in a very similar style to the end of year test and therefore your children can practice on it at home and get used to the 6 second time limit with each question.
