Wow! What a wonderful first week in Beech Base! The children have all come into so well and eager to learn. They have been enthusiastic about their new topic ‘We Are Colourful!’.

In English, the children have started their learning based on the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. We have spent some time gathering WOW words from the book to use in our own writing.

In Maths, the children have been recapping counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. They have been reviewing their understanding of tens and ones.
