We have used Peace at Last by Jill Murphy this week to explore night time animals. We talked about different noises we may hear at night. The children liked the bears in the story and we decided to use the children’s interest to explore bears as a separate topic.

We have learnt about different bears and their habitats. We have made our own teddy bears and sung lots of songs about bears. We used porridge as our messy play which was fun to explore.
