Another fun filed week in Nursery. This week our focus book has been Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? By Bill Martin.  We have been looking at colours and talking about our favourite colours and why we like that colour.

For example, “I like blue as it like the sea” Zack “I like brown as it looks like chocolate” Toby. 

We also having been learning about our five senses and we have had scented playdough- lemon/yellow, peppermint/green and cinnamon/brown, messy play including shaving foam, dried pasta, sand and water, listening games including Environmental Soundtracks, what’s missing tray game and tasting different fruits and Mr Potato Head play. 

The children continue to be able to make the most of the warm weather and enjoy many of our activities outside.
