We have great news.  Verwood CE First School and Nursery has been awarded its first Green Flag by Eco Schools.  Well done to our dedicated members of Team Eco for all of their hard work.  Also, a huge thank you to all of our school community including Friends of Verwood, parents and of course the children. 

Our application was supported by our many Eco initiatives, including recycling over 7000 crisp packets, recycling milk cartons, drinking straws, stationery and of course our 300 Eco bricks filled with unwanted plastic. We were hoping to have an Eco brick trainer come and work with us this summer to build stools for our reading corners.  This is now on hold for the future.
