We have been focussing on Our Senses this week. The children have been on a listening walk and smelling different foods. We have looked at the different senses and what we use and need them for.

We also continue to collect autumn leaves from our nursery garden. The children have explored autumn colours and enjoyed leaf printing and leaf rubbings. We have used Oliver’s Vegetables as a stimulus for a discussion about Harvest. One of the highlights of the week was the children watching the Harvest Festival zoom assembly. They loved waving at themselves on the big screen.

We look forward to welcoming some of our children into Nursery next week for our holiday club and we wish our families a relaxing half term break.
