This week has been full of excitement, we have had some lovely new resources, thanks to the Friends of Verwood.  We have had so much fun playing with farm and wild animals and used all sorts of materials to create habitats for these. 

We have also had some fantastic new kitchen equipment for our role play areas – the staff have been treated to cups of tea, fish and pineapple sandwiches and all sorts of other delights. 

We have continued to practice name recognition on the whiteboard and develop listening skills using soundtracks games.  We also have enjoyed a daily yoga session.

Outside, we have been lucky enough to find all sorts of mini beasts- ladybirds, spiders, woodlice and the odd butterfly too.  We also enjoyed an Autumn walk in the woodland area too collecting leaves and sticks.
