This week we really enjoyed our first day in Ash base (Grayson), settling in to a new school (Henry) and getting to know each other by playing a game (Olivia B).  

A magic memory was meeting new friends like Olivia and Henry (Ben), seeing our new base (Summer S) and meeting our new teachers (Zander).  

We had to be resilient in numeracy because I didn’t know my four times tables so I worked it out (Harry), during handwriting when we were practising our cursive writing (Flo), and during my handwriting as I normally don’t join my writing (Poppy).

We needed to show a growth mind-set attitude in handwriting practising the letter ‘f’ (Molly) and in literacy I had to focus on my handwriting (Ben).  

We are looking forward to our solar farm trip (Holly), continuing to practise our cursive handwriting (Elesa).
