Wow what a busy week in Sycamore base! The children have been counting backwards, writing all about what makes them special, creating Art in the style of George Seurat and writing prayers for our Harvest Festival. A huge thank you for all the donations of food, these are on their way to the local food bank to help those that are less fortunate. Another thank you to all of you that managed to make the Harvest Festival in school – the children were brilliant and did some great singing and reading of prayers.

The children have very nearly filled their Gem Jar and have voted for a Pyjama Party! All the information around this came home in a letter in their book bag. If you have missed this, please ask on the door or in the office for another copy.

Finally, on Friday afternoon the children were learning about why it is so important to brush their teeth and keep their mouths healthy! They were sent home with a little freebie from Colgate – a toothbrush and toothpaste – to encourage them to brush their teeth twice daily at home. There was also an information leaflet for parents.
