A busy week for Willow base with school photos and a visiting author Deb Pharoah Pink (also an ex VFS employee) who spoke to the children all about her new book and how to make it in the publishing world, what an inspiration!

In maths this week we have been learning how to order, add and subtract fractions and the children have been really applying a growth mindset to conquer their challenges!

In English we have been busy writing newspaper reports based on an earthquake in which the children have used our 5W’s and direct speech fantastically!

We enjoyed double science this week learning more about sun safety and shadows.
