DONATION WEEK FOR CHRISTMAS FAIR

We are aware that there has been some confusion over this for which we apologise! There is so much going on at the moment and wires have been perhaps crossed along the way.

We traditionally have a "Donation Day" before our big Summer and Christmas Fair events where we ask for items to use at the fair itself, in exchange for the children having a non-uniform day. This year, we are trialling what has proved to be successful for other schools and asking for donations over the course of the week. You don’t have to donate everything on the list, nor on the exact day setif possible, it just allows a smaller focus for both parents and Friends.

The £1 donation for the non-uniform day goes to the Friends to help us "fill the gaps" for the Fair – prizes, food, etc. – as we are never sure what will be donated.

Just to say, we know what a nightmare this time of year can be, we are parents too and know how much is asked of us from all directions. So we really appreciate your support. We are working really hard to make the Christmas Fair a fun evening that is accessible to all.

As always, no nuts please. Any alcohol should be handed into the office by an adult please.

We also urgently need quality, used soft toys for our teddy tombola – if you can manage to sneak them out of the house then please send them our way. The "Halloween Sweet Amnesty" bucket is still in the school office if you wish to sneak some of that too!
