Our school day starts with the main gates being opened at 08:25 by our site manager. Doors to the cloakroom will open at 08:30, with a member of staff based at each door. All children are expected to arrive in class by 08:45, when the school day begins. At this point, the cloakroom doors will close, the main gates will be locked and the registers will be taken. 

At the end of the day, the gates will be unlocked at 2:55 by our site manager. Teaching staff will open the cloakroom doors and dismiss the children at 15:00 (Yr R, 1 and 2) and 15:05 (Yr 3 and 4). 

At Verwood CE First School, we have capacity for 2 classes in each year group. These classes are organised into bases, with each base being named after a tree.
