At Verwood First School Team Eco have been busy helping to collect shoe boxes for the 2018 Rotary Shoe Box Appeal. The Team has been busy learning about how we can make a difference whilst caring for Our World and the people in it. At Christmas the team will be selling items made from recycled materials at the school fayre, including pencils made from coffee cups! Please come and buy from us!
Team Eco are presenting to the whole school about their aims on how to reduce single use plastic both in and out of school. We need to make a difference! Change has to start with us!
We often look and find the amazing, which can take our breath away. We also think about the things that disturb or worry us. As we see the plastic ocean, we reflect and want to act!
